What if I left a male with a female? What would I get? Would the female still bud but also have seeds?
Thanks

Thats what I thought. I may do this in one area with two plants, just to be able to harvest some seeds.
Thanks MAgic

Make sure to keep them away from the rest of your girls! You could just harvest some pollen from the male(and then kill it) and pollinate some of the buds, that way you have some seeds and still save most of the buds. :D Just get a small paint brush and paint some pollen on some buds, usually best to do the lower buds so you don't get as much drift or drop. ;) Just my .02

At what point do your pollinate?

IMHO, I'd wait until you're 3 or 4 weeks into flowering cycle.
And you need to let the seeds sit for a few weeks after harvesting them before you germ them. I'd like to hear some other opinions, since I've only done it a few times and always the same way.

when the pollen appears, put a piece of newspaper or similar under the plant to gather as it falls. take a paint brush and 'paint' the areas you want to have seeds and it'll cut the saturation a bit. some will still float around, especially with fans running but you can minimize the amount by separating and painting. it only takes a very small amount for a shitload of seeds...
they're ready for pollinating as soon as you have both pollen and flowers.
