Yellow Leaves -
It seems to be a big problem lately so I've compiled some info that I've found and just a bunch of other crap. :rasta:
1: When leaves turn yellow, then to brown and shrivel, it's just aging and growing.
Usually when it comes to this type of growing, especially so young it's not the case.
2. Unexpected cold can cause leaf drop. Though really that's not the problem if your
growing indoors.
3. Too much direct sunlight or high temps. Change can happen quite quick, move them some
place with some in-direct light. Be careful of HIGH UV's. I know with summer weather, my plants
have suffered in 60 degree temps due to that.
If your completely growing indoors, and your temps are high ( some posts I've seen near 90's and up.
You might want to consider some fan's/ or an exhaust system of some kind.
4:How often do you water them? Are you watering so much it's like a swamp? Heavy pots?
Might be choking roots, or causing some kind of root rot or other problems.
5:Maybe your little plant wants to be a cactus and your soil is dry as a desert.
In which case, it might shed it's leafs in survival attempts.
( Don't over water when you
get worried though)
6: Maybe it's fertilizer burn? Are your nuting/Ferting your plants too much!?!?
7: Do you beat your plants? Transplant them and rip the roots? Stop the torture.
9: Are you using Miracle Gro products? I know you all love them for the great access at every
local store, but the ferts can be a killer, same with some of the feeds. Be careful.
If your gonna cheap out somewhere, don't be cheap with the soil and nuts.
10: What's your PH levels? Does it suck? Check it out. Make sure your not giving it that crap
that makes you gag when you drink it! you have to smoke these guys later you know!
11: Do you play with your plants? If you're a new grower, or you just love dreaming about all
that nug your gonna smoke. Hands off the plants. All that poking, and shaking and playing with them
can't be great. How would you like it?
If i think of anything else or find anything I'll add it.
