Writing a paper about Cannabis Laws

As the title says, I am writing a paper for a college class, and it is about Cannabis Laws. I thought to myself, who would know the best scholarly articles on the net about this subject? I know that I could use the search button, but I thought I would ask for the very best, the most pertinant, and the most legit articles you guys have come across in your time as Cannabis enthusiasts. I still have time to choose the angle of the paper, so if you have any suggestions regarding that, they would be welcome as well.

I was thinking I would focus on Medical Marijuana, possibly focusing on the state I live in, which currently has a bill trying to be passed to legalize it (pray with me people). I could focus even further on the reasons for legalizing it, but I thought that might come across as a tad stonerish for public, but i dunno. in the end, I have to write (after several other papers on the topic) a 10-15 page argumentative essay, so I do need to be able to argue something. Any help is appreciated :smokin:

When I was in college (for the second time) I found I could write the best papers stoned, but the grammar and spelling sucked and the transitions were really rough! But the ideas were golden! So I wrote most of my papers stoned and "cleaned them up" straight. Graduated with honors. :thumbsup: The Lit prof said she "saved my papers for dessert"! :D You might try it. And if anything in the "medical" link below can be of help- feel free to use it! I can't understand how I could find all these studies, yet most of America is totally unaware of them! I hate suppression of knowledge!

I too have found I write better stoned, I wrote a final on the nature of Good and Evil while baked on blueberry kush, and got a 98%. It had LoTR, Star Wars, even Harry Potter refrences, and the teacher was a sci-fi geek :)

Ms Mary J. a good reason for late life post graduate course's!! I have noticed everyone around me when using their medicine are much moe interesting to talk with! And pretty much boring when sober. Nice to see a happy medium! Paper should be interesting, do keep ups updated.

I opened this on the off chance it was some sort of real thing that would have an effect on soiciety. LIke, someone working for one of the presidential candidate's writing the opinion of his stand! Oh well, wishful piping! :jointsmile:

good luck on your paper man. this year a did a debate paper on U.S. PATRIOT Act about how it'as unconstitutional and all that and went against my teacher even though she was on my side personaly. but near the end of me typin it, the black sabbath album paranoid started playing and that just got me goin and i'd say it was the best paper i've ever typed. so like i said good luck! and if i by chance come across anything i'll help you out.

I'm really hoping I can do this right, not only for us smokers, but also because I need a B in this class, so why not pick somthing I'm passionate about!

I'm going to be trying to point out the positive aspects (helps prevent lung cancer, alzheimers, and works as good on pain as most legal narcotics ect.), so if you guys think of any good info on that, it would be helpfull too.

Glad to see people taking an intrest, once I start writing, maybe I'll post some drafts and you guys can tell me what you think :)
