Hes going to school next year.Should i give him a proper haircut or let him be how he likes. He dont want me to cut it will his hair because everyone loves it and so does he.Will his hair make me look bad when he starts school?Once the teachers get to know him they will see hes an angel just has different hair.He likes it and i like it and his dad isnt here to have his say. Also i like it long at the back because were redheads and he will get sunburnt on his neck even with a hat on.Ok chop or leave it ?

Leave it. Once he starts school he may decide he wants a haircut like another lil boy. Perhaps he'll set the trend. I think it's totally adorable, they grow up to fast! lol

Leave it...I was always pissed at my parents when they wouldnt let me shave my hair or grow it out...As young as he is the kids wont think anything of it.

ur a great mom to be that concerned- i agree-leave it- he's adorable; plus little ones like to be in control of something- it's just hair!

Yeah, leave it (I may be biased though, being a mullethead myself). You can't get a haircut that'll please everyone, so if you're going to please anyone it might as well be the one attached to the hair.

I'm facing a similar question, my son is 11 and until now he has kept his hair fairly short. Now he wants to let it grow out, but it's at that in-between stage when no matter how he combs it, it still looks messy. I keep telling him we need to get it cut, but he won't agree with me.
Wtf? Am I turning into a Republican in my old age or what??

ask him. he looks old enough to make that kind of decision...within reason of course. but more important...NEVER worry about about anything so unimportant as "how would i look if...". what other people think doesn't matter in this case...most cases for that matter.
on a side note...ever see "joe dirt"? there's a great mullet featured in that movie...not a bad flick either!

If he likes it, leave it. My daughter has long hair and it's a real pain in the butt to keep it nice but she would cry and cry if I ever cut it. Your son is too cute, Jacqueline. :)

LOL NO he dont like piercings and anyways theres no way i would let him have any done even his ear at his age.He could just be a bit unusual like me because he asked for the moehawk.Shit ive done everything to my hair, every colour, hair extensions, dreads, even shaved it twice.I get bored looking the same all the time
