SALT SALT SALT!
EPSOM SALT for slugs. just sprinkle some around the base of the pot or even hardwood ash will dry the moisture out of them. But when the stuff gets wet it loses its effectiveness.

careful not to over due the salt......it can build up pretty fast and reek havoc on your soil

But when the stuff gets wet it loses its effectiveness. That's diatomaceous earth.
Avoid applying epsom salts except in the case of an ABSOLUTELY OBVIOUS Mg deficiency, and even then, use it sparingly, as a foliar feed. There are 2 threads inthe problems section as we speak where growers have severely damaged their plants with too much ES.

i just made a makeshift table and put my plants on top of that so there elevated off the ground and it seems ot be working great so far. (except one of my plants has little tiny holes in one of the leaves possibly spider mites?)
