I'm not entirely sure

I have a feeling it would just start to suffer somewhere along the line.

if you do 12/12 from seed I hear you can get small plants sometimes 1g plants with certain strains.

and reportedly it looks like a bonsai MJ baby.

it will grow up until there is no more root space, depending on how much that is, it will start to wilt and die. kinda a waste if you ask me.

you can flower clones in a much smaller space than you can a plant from seed.
