I have numerous little bugs around my plant, I think they're attracted to the CFL's. I don't have a pic of one but they are basically little black things with clearish wings. lol k worst description ever, could be anything. But they come in with the plant after I take it outside for a day. There are a fair few of them around my garden. I'll try n take a pic of one and y'all experts can tell me if they're gonna eat my baby. I've just been roughing up the dirt to get them to fly out then killing them but they keep comming! ahhhh
Anyway peace!

Aight here the bastards are
Last night I'm pretty sure they had babies when I decided to turn the lights off. The babies look similar but their wings look white when they are against the soil. But it may just be an illusion, they might be clear aswell.
WHAT ARE THEY?!?!?!?!

Haha theyre gnats and theyre not really (if at all) harmful to the plants. I currently have them myself and trying to get rid of the annoying lil bastards. Sorry for my laughter. Its just that I was just looking for the organic recipe I used once. If I somehow find it again I'll be more than happy to link you to it. Also sticky Fly-strips help put a dent in their population. Lastly they usually come about from over-watering or from exposed standing water and thats where theyre likely to breed. Hope all this helps and happy growing!

Looks like an adult thrip. They pupate in the soil and emerge a couple days later in their winged stage. The adults do nothing but make sweet sweet bug love, but the larvae will fuck up your plants. This is a good example of why you should choose indoors or outdoors, and not move between them. If you keep on doing what you are doing, pests are something you will just have to learn to live with. A light application of neem oil a couple times a week will protect your plants from SOME of the damage, but you really gotta choose a style and stick with it.
