View Full Version : Germination to First Sprout

So I germinated a batch of 6 bagseeds. All germinated well and had 2 mm white roots coming out. I placed them in a small 6-slot starter container root DOWN and have had 2000 lumens beaming 2 inches above the surface of the dirt almost 24/7. The dirt is not of the best quality which I suspect may be part of my problem...I am now on day 4 and NO sprout. Are these dead seeds? Maybe too old of seeds? Any thoughts on why I am yet to see sprouts, and how long does it usually take to see a sprout?
Thanks!

best thing you can do is keep the ground moist. If they are viable they will sprout. they had a taproot so im guessing they arnt duds. whats the temperature?
