Where did you stay when you were in Amsterdam?

I am not sure what hotel to stay at when I go to amsterdam in a week and a half. I don't want to stay at a Hostel, only a 3 or 4 star hotel in the heart of the city, and close to all of the cafes parks, etc. If anyone has stayed here before, I would like to know what hotel you stayed at, where it's located, and what you thought of it. i was looking at that site yesterday...i also started a thread under the title of "amsterdam" yesterday n someone postred some info on that...sooo wutever..hope it was all helpfull
