So its been one week in canning they hypno and im a hypocit because ive been smoking it before its fully cured. its so damn tasty and the high is amazing. Im down to one mason jar seeing how i smoke maybe about 5 grams and given my girl like 6 grams for those "cramps". you know ;)

Come on over MC. lol... Actually a friend who doesnt know i grow ( all of my friends dont know) smoked some of the hypnoberry last nite. He was amazed. he was like holy shit where did you get this. this looks and tastes so good. He was freaking out that he could taste the weed and not chemicals ( we only get good weed in my area thats been hydro). He was asking me to get in touch will the dealer, But i dont sell so i told him that this was a one time only. the longer the weed has canned i have noticed the after smoke has a slight blueberry taste, but has more of a earthy/hashy taste while in process of smoking. the Vicks vapor rub flavor has dissapaited.

been having some weird crusty marks on my leaves. i figured it could be a Mg defficency like i thought when i first had my seeds of NYCD, or its T5 light burn. either way, i flushed them, and added the correct nutrient mix and ph. hopefully this will help

I think im going to pick this up for my new grow, maybe retire my T5's 2 vegging or use them on the sides vertically if i can fit them

This is really not the lamp i want or have looked at before. im settling on this because its dirt cheap. i need an HPS. i cant spen 300 like i wanted to. and i can air cool it... anyone have anything to say?

I've been looking at the lights on their website, too. Good prices. The price on that one is pretty good.

My biggest concern would be having the ballast inside the tent. Just seems like that much more to cool.

I was thinking of adding one of their "store brand" models with the external ballast and either the Euro hood or the Cooltube. Both can be air cooled. But then, you are talking a few more bucks.

Seems I've read that folks are getting pretty good results supplementing smaller HPS lamps with CFL's or T5's. Maybe you could get by with a 150 or 175 watt light above and your T5's on the sides.

How many total lumens are you after?

That is from HTG. all of my lamps have been through them. im just trying to get a cheap 250 watt air cooled. They have one for 117 with external ballast and a maxiwing. but im thinking about using a pyrex bake around for a cooltube.

So i smoked some of the NYCD after it has been dry from plant #2, but not curred. Im not sure if curring raises the THC potency in cannabis or it just helps the flavor. Flavor of the bud is so sweet, couldnt pin point a smoke flavor yet, and i will wait to tell you after its been curred. I smoke a small bowl out of my bong and i have to say that the high isnt as strong as the Hypno. I deffinitly feel more awake from smoking this then the hypno. Deffinitly a head high, which im happy with though, i did harvest at 90% milky trichs 10% amber

Not that amazing weight, But hey working with T5's. Im switching over to HPS, im not that happy with what they buds weigh and the airyness of them. pics to come soon

Nice soil grow man... Those are some badass genetics. NYCD is mostly sativa right? How long is it supposed to flower? And do you know Hypnoberry's pedigree? They look really good.. tight internodal spacing and compact bud formation. The berry is def. indica right? YOu got a good setup... keep it up and watch out for mites:wtf:.

I may be right behind you adding an HPS for the next grow. I'll stick it out with the CFL's this time but would like to move up from bagseed now that we're feeling a bit more confident.

4 NYCD x 1 Hypnoberry Full Melt Bubble Hash Tastes like straight Lemon Zest. No Hashy flavor at all. amazing! i want to turn the 84 oz of bud to hash now. but im not going to do that, i need bud to smoke. :)

Just Bought a Lumatek 250 watt HPS/MH digital Ballast off ebay for 115 brand new zero shipping....I now plan on buying the reflector wiring cords and a Pyrex Bake a round to make a cool tube.

HAHA, i know what you mean. i used to grow with CFL's and went to the T5's. I want to go to 400 watts so bad, i just cant afford it with the fans and pump i have going on with the nutrients. I just dont want to have a huge light bill, i figured it out, my area charges a lot for electricity (which is strange). So im just doing the 250, im hoping within the next 3 years i can move to a 600 watt, when i really upgrade and get a homebox L. that will be my next purchase JG! HAHAHA:D

YO STOVEDRO. The Grow is done man, its all done haha, Im on my second grow already with my clones and they are 3 weeks into bloom... The full taste report hasnt come out of my NYCD yet. Ive smoked some dry but not fully cure, and i have one more week to cure with that. However the High, which i lied before is intense in the most ever plesent way like a walking a granny across the street and having a nice little talk and then BAM! Chuck Norris hits you with fist from down the street, but while you are flying down this street from the force of that punch, you somehow get the bug to create music and your bashing into car car after car, cause its busy. and you have this guitar in your hand and your like Wah wah wuh wah on your guitar! haha yeah! The high is like that. Hey im high like that!

Yeah that sounds like some crazy shit. Im waiting to get started on growing.im actually deployed right now in the army and have 4 months till i can start and posts like yours give me so much information and really get me stoked to get it going when i get back home.
But seeing how in the army they always have chuck norris jokes ill share one.

Almost Cured 84 g. NYCD in Tupperware.

Leaving one bud (under 1 g) out in a room not in a jar will leave a room stinking like weed in under 10 seconds. its so skunky.

Yeah this was a very informative log for me jsut to see how people do it and what they got out of it. Ys the plan is by new years eve to be in the process of growing already got most of the things all ready to be set up by me. With this grow i finished at 2 gallon pots, my clones now are in 3 gallons. I Switched to flowering at the 4th week of when the seeds popped from the soil. And out of 5 seeds that i did use the phenotypes were 3 indicas, and one sativa pheno. the other seed was male. and if i remember correctly my finishing height average was around 24 inches. but i had one plant that reached 17 inches and was the smallest. i had to prop it up in something to allow the light to reach it

just got back to viewing this, and apparently i'm well behind schedule. well done anbesol. i really hope to get the hypno sometime soon because under a 1k hps in 5gal bucket. i think it will yield exceptionally well.

those diesel buds look exactly like the ones i had previously. and yes, the smell is almost as dank as ak47, but no smell compared to that yet. i was very please with all the hairs this strain produces, just makes ya want to eat the nuggets.

well great job with both grows. i'm sure your clones will be more than satisfying. take care, and again, my apologies on missing all the action.

Maybe u already mentioned it in this log. but what was ur ventilation for this. can fan and carb filter. just regular rotating room fan. was there a intake or just exhaust or neither..:smokin::smokin:
