for all of the moderators and such who make this site work. I've taken some time to review 10 or so pages of Feedback and Suggestions threads, and it is unreal how many times you deal with the same situations over and over when the rules of the site are clear and obviously there for a reason. I think it is great that we try to keep the site focused on topics concerning Cannabis and Medical Marijuana... steering far from a social messaging site. It is crucial that the collective community set a responsible example for our culture, at a time when our message is so often misunderstood. The entire Medical Marijuana Community has a very difficult road to follow, and sites like this are helping good people get good information to feel better. Just wanted you all to know that even though you deal with complaints and negativity on a daily basis... people do notice how much effort you put into making this site what it is. Thanks. Keep

Thanks... Yeah, we're human too. We like having a pat on the bum once in a while, even when the other team just fed us our cleats. ;)

Don't know where it might have come from; the mod staff around here keep our asses, collectively, pretty clean :wtf:

you are right. I think I'm giving them too much credit. Why don't we just do away with them and the rules... and we can turn this into a new Myspace? :wtf:
Seriously, the locked up Feedback and Suggestions threads are better than a Springer episode.
Besides... what the hell is wrong with saying "Go Team!"

So... this is a pretty cool site when you get shit on for giving credit where credit is do. A+ for effort guys!!
If "kissing ass" keeps the fucking dipshits off of this site....you know... the 14-15 year olds who have absolutely no reason to be on a Medical Marijuana site... then my nose is going to get a whole lot browner in the future. I use this site to inform myself. I have been helped greatly by many members... and MODS in a very short period of time. I am excited at the thought of formulating a new way of treatment to finally get a handle on my medical problems. ANY person that deals with chronic symptoms EVERYDAY, should know exactly what I mean. When people actually give a shit... it feels pretty good. Nobody in my 'real' life gives a shit at the moment. At this point in my adult life, I don't feel that a "Yo, good lookin' out," is sufficient thanks. I think this site should be an example of what the Cannabis Culture actually is. A bunch of nice, caring, intelligent people... who are working together to re-shape the way society views marijuana. If that isn't something that you are interested in doing, then what does bring you here everyday?
Imagine that the ONE person who could instantly legalize marijuana, and grant access to the millions of people who desperately need it, was basing his final ruling on looking at a random page on CannCom to see what type of public would benefit from this ruling.
He clicks into one of the threads... looks at a member complimenting his fellow community members for doing a great job keeping this site true to its' intentions (thinks, oh that's nice... they really are intelligent adults seeking treatment)... and then scrolls down to see a bunch of immature name calling. :wtf:
Woops, overruled... just a bunch of dipshits trying to find a way to smoke weed without being arrested. C'mon... give me a break.
So please... inform me as to what is the "cool" thing to do when you appreciate something people have done? Thank them? Tell them they are a piece of shit? Or just never acknowledge that they helped you at all? I'm going to go with my initial post as evidence of the way adults behave.
Stay :D and Keep
P.S. Thanks for the REP to rub it in Pimp... that was... umm... sad.

I would just like to say thanks. I have lurked and read a many good articles over the past few years. I have learned something basic from at least each moderator, and haved watched them continuously be patient with the same ole new questions year in and year out. And I must say, I don't have the patients to do it.
But yea anyway thanks Mods, for keeping us well informed and the ill-minded out!

you need to lighten up man, grow a thicker skin
i don't think anyone here is tryin' to 'shit on' you bro', i'm sure anyone who has been a member for more than 15 minutes agrees with you (especially the part about keeping away the teenaged nuckleheads just looking for a way to beat a drug test, or how to grow in the closet of their bedrooms in their parents house)
so what if some tease you a little (i'm sure that's all Dutch was doing, if he meant it, he wouldn't have given you rep, it wasn't meant to 'rub it in')
the beautiful thing about boards like this is that you can respond to postings or not, your choice
oh yeah, public displays of pique only make you look bad, which is too bad really as your original post was right on (and i don't give a rat's patutti if people want to call me a butt kisser, without the mods this site would suck, like so many others)
