Just trying to get others input I love to grow. I took a break for sometime and am just getting everything lined up AND JUMPED IN 110 PERCENT. I live in NY were marijuana is Decriminalized and now they are starting to run the adds LIKE Oregon NV and other MMJ states ran before becoming medicinal states. My doctor is my neighbor and I was going to ask him if he would prescribe or if he has patients and colleagues who are looking for the medicinal connections. If is answer to me would be yes then I would like to try to create a service were patience maybe even the doctors can supply to them and mark it up. DO you think that's putting myself out under the knife to much or if the knife was to come down do you think It could help being that I'm trying to help? Being that the people that are getting the medicine would be prescribed by a doctor.
I'm lucky my doctor is my next door neighbor and my grow opp is not by my house....
Who knows maybe I will be the first NYC COOP LOL:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks for what ever input

I completely agree WT I think that if the blade was to fall and you are supporting medicinal patience it may help....
I HOPE I NEVER HAVE TO FIND OUT...
No names of course I mean there are 20 + services in the city and they will pay up to $8000 a pound no bullshit things get out of hand around here.
Hey they do not ask for prescriptions.... LOL

How well do you know your Dr.? Most dogs don't sleep on their own crap or close to it! Meaning, you don't want to wear out your welcome in your hood! Plus, what Dr's do and how they live are sometimes different!
Dr.'s aren't allowed to dispense it! You might want to read the laws!
I am told it is O.K. to share with other patients, as friends and not business! If you have a legit store front, patients will come. But, you need to read all the threads about this. If I were a PC person, I'd be able to put them down, wait long enough, someone can!:hippy:

Hey PT unfortunatly my State is not a medicinal State YET!!!!
My Neighbor is a good friend + he is my physician. I was just curious to get others opinions.
I understand Don't Shit in your own back yard!!!
My thought were if LEO comes looking and I'm dealing with all patience not just smokers I think that the state may go lighter on punishment....
Maybe they won't the whole theory behind medicinal is screwed up because the states are over ridding Federal law. Which I'm not complaining about I just hope my state does it soon.......

i think it is a bad idea!! you could end up in prison for a long time!! its not even legal at the state level!! and you have a wife&kids that need you!@!! would your kids like having to finish growing up in foster home cause you got busted and the state took them away??:wtf:plus i think your motivation is the money @$8000 a lb it is very tempting but the price you could pay if caught is too high ,have you spoke to your wife about it?? i recommend you take care of your personnel needs and keep it to a misdemeanor. good luck

There's a member here who claims recently to have been robbed AT GUNPOINT by a legal dispensary. Even MMJ is a risky business. Big money is big temptation...
I strongly advise against cashcropping with a family to consider. Leave the risks for those who are unattached and have less to lose. Can you imagine explaining to the in-laws why your kids had to spend a weekend in a foster home while you and your wife were sitting in lockup waiting for your arraignment? Because you do understand, I hope, that she would be arrested right along with you.
I might note, too, that the 8 g's per pound figure assumes you are ouncing it out personally- no WAY are you going to find a wholesaler, legal or otherwise, who will pay that. That's $62.50 an eighth broken down... absolutely NO margin for profit anywhere along the line. You will end up putting yourself at great risk looking for the pot of gold. The bigger the money, the more likely that you will meet with individuals who are willing to risk violence to seal the deal.

Marijuana is not "decriminalized" in New York.
Marijuana for medical purposes is nowhere near legal in New York State, and I have never heard even a rumor of the existence of anything resembling medical dispensaries. Many people are arrested daily for it, even for possession or sale of small amounts. The prices here, if you're lucky enough to find any at all, are about as high as anywhere, and one of the main reasons for this is the laws.
But, if you insist on trying your plan, good luck - and I mean that!

Hoooooly crapola Batman. What a ripoff! People just need to start growing their own already. Out of curiosity... what was it? Was the buyer paying for a name, or was it prime product?

STINK Why would you HOPE she gets arrested?
I Don't do nothing in my home and she has no part to do with anything. Why should she be arrested? As far as location, my name does not exist. Elec, Lease, ect...NOTHING..... You have me bugging out.. Paranoia KIDS IN A FOSTER HOUSE? They are not subjected to anything... Besides "I can't grow a chia pet" Quote from a friend ;)

Excuse me? Read that again. It does not mean "I hope she gets arrested"; it means, "I hope you UNDERSTAND that she would get arrested if she could be proven to even KNOW about the grow!"
Be VERY VERY VERY careful!! That's all! I don't want to see anyone get hurt.

I think it would be very difficult to convince the DA that she was blissfully unaware of your business, especially if you were using the profits to pay bills. It's a bit of a catch-22. If you say, yes she knew, then she is fucked. If you say, no she didn't, then they will look at you like a total asshat who was hiding shit from his beloved wife, and treat you like dirt. Very dangerous waters to tread no matter what kind of shoes you are wearing.

I think if you are serious about working with dispensaries, it would be a good idea to move to a state where the dispensary/provider relationships are very clearly laid out legally, and there is an established protocol for it. That's a good protection for both the grower and the dispensary.
Hell... move to Providence. You'll be in GREAT company down thattaway. RI is a med state now. And the fishin' ain't all that bad either!
