hey, this might sound silly but- I'm wondering if a saliva cotton swab test could be negatively effected, or "red flagged" if they detected a substance like listerine?? For pre-employment, I was tipped prior to a cotton swab test. I havnt smoked in over a week... but before smoked heavily. Being paranoid, Rinsed with listerine about 30 mins prior to the test. A friend said the alchohol content of the listerine could be bad. Any thoughts? Im actually not worried about the weed... just that my results would be dismissed, or something. Thanks everyone.

Other studies showed tea, and many other commonly ingested substances, can trigger a false positive. If you ran a search, I bet you could find even more studies! - Granny:hippy:

No the Listerine will not effect your test results and a week is plenty of time on the marijuana.
