Highly skilled thieves broke into a jewelry company in Massachusetts and made off with $2 million in bling-bling that included some Super Bowl rings made for staff members of the New York Giants.

These were no ordinary thieves. The Sun Chronicle in Attleboro reports they acted with "military-like precision" as they cut a hole in the roof and extracted a safe that police said weighed at least 1,000 pounds from the E.A. Dion company.

Police said there were no immediate suspects. But, given the theft of Giants rings, the New England location of the heist and the outcome of the last Super Bowl, we suggest checking the Patriots for alibis.

Actually, it made them look bad, because as everyone knows, in the off-season they have the contract for monitoring video surveillance tapes... har har har
