6" Inline Fan

i just bought a new cooltube and inline fan after i hooked it up and turned it on this this is so loud i can hear it from the 1st floor (its on the second)

does anyone know of a brand of inline fans that are quite?

or have any idea how i could lower the rpms? would a dimmer work?

Buy a router motor controller. Its just plugs inline and you can set the motor speed at what works for you. They're usually about $30.
