There is a guy a knew, he was in his early 30s, he died 2 years ago of a heart attack...he was overweight and had bad cholesterol...he was a pothead, and i just found out that one day he smoked alot i dont kno exactly how much but he smoked alottt, and the next day he nevver woke up, had a heart attack in his sleep...kinda scared me a little, any thoughts?

How would weed have killed him? In the history of mankind, there has not been a single documented death from marijuana use. Being overweight and having bad cholesterol, yeah, I can easily see that causing a heart attack. But weed?

i just thought it was weird that the guy smoked alot and died the next day but yea, the weight was the problem

Fat cunt pegged it cause he didn't take care of himself and smoking may well have had an effect on his coronary vascular system but HE DID NOT DIE OF CANNABIS,
NOBODY EVER DIED FROM CANNABIS !!!

Anatomical Summary:

1. Apparent stab wounds to the chest and abdomen.

2. Gun shot wound to the head.

3. 'Resin' stain on lips consistent with marijuana cigarette found at crime scene.
Cause of death: Marijuana overdose.

weed does riase your heart rate but it lowers your blood preasure so i dont think its was the weed

Yes people do die from weed, but like you said he was fat you have to smoke like half your bodyweight in weed in a few hours to overdose, so lets say he was 300(or more) he would have to smoke 150 pounds over a few hours i highly doubt it was the weed....

There have been precancerous cells found in heavy marijuana smokers, never a case of lung cancer that could be attributed soley to marijuana smoking however.

Yes people do die from weed, but like you said he was fat you have to smoke like half your bodyweight in weed in a few hours to overdose, so lets say he was 300(or more) he would have to smoke 150 pounds over a few hours i highly doubt it was the weed....
Even the government admits there is no such thing as marijuana overdose. Try 1500 (that is THOUSAND) pounds in 15 minutes.

Well IMO he died because he did NOT take care of himself :( It's to bad and all but I would not pick pot as the cause! You said "He smoked alot i dont know exactly how much but he smoked alottt" well I am a MAJOR pot head!

I don't smoke near as much as before but when people say alottt! That's me, I think you would OD from eating pot before smokin it! You would surely pass out from smoking before you would OD.....or I would have been dead by 16 :p

errr ok i just realized i said yes ppl do die from weed.lol i dont knwo what i meant by that but i think i was saying like you can get complications from weed that would make you die, Ex. Lung Cancer, and what not

Thats because most pot smokers smoke cigs too. There isnt a big enough control group
