Cutting the Cola off and leaving the rest of the plant so it can get more light penetration?

bad or good?

I also have to cut them down in 21 days anyways...

Anyone know if harvesting parts of the plant will drastically slow the entire plants production of THC? should I just wait until the last day I have until I have to take them down?

anyone....

If the main cola is the monitor and regulator for the plant, then I would think cutting it off with a bit of time to go before harvest would tell the plant holy shit I think were gonna die and go into stress. Not sure if this is true so don't quote me.

I still wish I could get a more clear answer from an experienced grower I know has a reputation on these boards :\

Any information about partial harvests are very welcome on this thread!

That top doesn't look ready to come down yet, and cutting it off now would chage how the hormones in the plant are distributed... JeffersonBud is right that it is the 'monitor' for the plant.
Just for shits n giggles, google 'apical dominance'. This is an important concept for anyone learning to prune plants for whatever reason.
