Im new at growin....i need some tips

Im kinda new at growing i had three plants outdoor but they were destroyed by the time they got to about 5 inches....major bs.
Im starting by using an old 1x 1/2x 3/4x chest its small but discrete. im not lookin for a huge crop or nothing. I really need some tips............:hippy:

Read up! There's a link in my sig on general indoor techniques, and you should read the grow logs in the closet section and the closet logs in the general grow log area.

a "1x1/2x3/4 chest" ???? ... what is that ? ... remember, you are trying to squeeze down a plant that can grow 15 feet tall ... good thing you're not expecting a 'huge crop' ... :wtf:

its a small wooden chest. Like a pirate you know its kinda all i got right now im low on cash. Thanks for some tips though i just thought i should experiment with a really small plant. Ive never heard of anybody down sizing a plant that much. Im not really expecting it to go well my first time or ever for that matter but i will continue to experiment.

What are your units of measurement? If that's feet, then no there's no way. Try African violets in there. Meters, you might be able to do seedlings in there...
You are in your 40s so I imagine you can find some slightly larger place in your home to grow?

turn the box on its end and use some cfls and some netting should give ya ok-ish results m8 :thumbsup:

thanx for your help. im just goin to ditch it and stretch my money and make a plywood box. Much more feet. Any ideas for dimensions? Im thinkin a medium sized box.:thumbsup:
