How Long Does Your High Last?

So i searched around a bit for a thread like this and couldnt find one.
So my question is, How long does your high last before it wears off? For me, now a days its only about 30 min to an hour tops of seattles finest.

Well... the duration of a high depends on several factors... the amount of weed you smoke, the amount of time you took to smoke the weed (like, bongs burns weed faster than joints, etc), the strain (indica/sativa), your tolerance, the amount of food you ate before and after smoking, etc... (there are several others but i cant remember... :stoned:)

My own highs lasts about 1 hour at most... the first 20 minutes are pretty intense, and after it the high decreases steadily... after 1 hour im only buzzed and after it im almost sober again.

Mine last all day, or untill I run out. I'd say I get the erge to smoke again about two hours after I toke. Soooo, I make sure I only wait one and a half hours to smoke up again.

It's been a while since I've had a smoking session so my highs would probably last from here to Hong Kong.

I recently started smoking my pipes and bongs more regularly. I really forgot how ripped I get from them. Compared to a joint it's like super delicious, hope theres more smoke coming out of my ears then dissolving my lungs though.


Today during college I started getting a migraine which really couldn't have come at a worse time since this is my final week.
I split out of class, got a taxi home although my vision had gone very weird and my head was starting to pound.
Now normally a migraine takes me "out of action" for a day or so. Today was different, I decided I'd smoke an ice cold bong then go and lye down for an hour.
My head was still pounding but I was completely relaxed, for the first time ever I didn't puke from a migraine. I felt great, today's high covered me for when I went back into class. I even was able to munch out and not puke it up! :D

HAHA thats how my weekends go, i smoke about every hour or so to keep it going......although i did find out that if i light a really fat one (2.2-2.5g) at like 6am and manage to stay up I will feel like im dreaming all day, those are the best days lol.:stoned:

I'm high for a couple hours after smoking. It tapers off, but I can still feel it a couple hours later.

I lose my high instantly if I fall through ice into a freezing cold lake. Or if I am attacked by wolves. But other than that, almost nothing gets rid of my high.

it all depends on the strain. common headies get me blazed for about 2 hours. certain strains i can still feel the effects 5 hours later. cold weather will instantly sober me up though.

duuude haha i remember the first time i ever smoked, that happened to me, my legs went numb. it was awesome, but i do'nt think i've gotten it since those ffirst couple times i smoked(also my first high i remember actually having like closed eye visuals that went with the music i was listening to haha, if only you could always feel the way it felt the first time)

anyways i would say im high for like 45 min or so, could be more if i smoke a shit ton at once, ideally i would smoke every hour. 2 hours seems to be the point when i really wanna smoke again if i havent already haha.

Keeping a low tolerance does wonders for your high quality as well...

Depends on how much iv smoked, If its my 1st joint of the day then it usall lasts a about 1hr .. Usally im stoned all day as im smokin alot.. But Since iv cut down I feel the stone lasts alot longer, a good few hours...

Today I smoked a bowl before Water Tai Chi at 10 am. It's now 3:30 and I'm wasted. I'm thinking of heading over to a friends to smoke them up. But I have no desire to hit a pipe or joint right now. This reminds me of Elephant weed or Hawaiian I've had before, hangs on for a long while.

Well, the high at it's peak usually lasts between 1-2 hours. However, it lingers at the back of my mind a few more hours after that. One time i smoked a bowl of some realy good weed at around 2.00PM, and i was still sitting in my chair half baked at around 8.00PM. I just couldn't be bothered to move. I could only sit there listening to music.:)

It's one thing i love about Cannabis, you get your money's worth, unlike booze which makes me sick and depressed.

Well, obviously there are many factors that you gotta keep in mind.

But on average, I'd say anywhere between 1-4 hours. And that's from someone who smokes pretty regularly for the last 2 years. I like my high(s) :jointsmile:

It has been over a year since I have gone more than a couple days without smoking. When I get to this point, I no longer get high, per se. Even after a day or two of not smoking, I still dont really get high.. just.. "right."

The body high goes down, but my mindframe stays the same for the most part. Thats not to say that unexpected stress-trials dont warrant an extra smoke, because they do.

Its probably time to stop for a while again.

About an hour and a half on shitty stuff, which is usually what I smoke since it's so cheap. But if I ever smoke some real good weed it can last me up to 3 hours. But I stay burnt out for the rest of the day. I hate being burnt out lol.
