Hey all, i got my wisdom teeth out
about a week ago, but smokin a joint
to kill the pain doenst work to well
(temp of smoke hurts the teeth)
so i figured ide make some brownies :D

my choices are "tenderflake pure lard"
and light olive oil. im asuming the lard
has more saturated fat.... lol.

is there any way that i can clarify
the lard? i tried like how you would
with butter, but two layers never showed up.
it just got yellower as stuff evaporated.

how long would i have to simmer the ganja
in the lard? 2-3 hours?

Lard should work fine, and clarifying it is not an issue. I would imagine you can treat it just like butter - the smoke points are different but you shouldn't be getting either one anywhere near that hot when making cannabutter.

Cannalard.

Cannaswine.

Lard won't need to be clarified, because it is already heavily cleaned and processed before packaging.
Since it is an animal-derived fat that is solid at room temperature, follow the same instructions as for regular butter; one thread to look at is in the 'edibles' section and the title is 'my washed cannabutter technique' or something like that.

I just use canola oil in my recipes. It seems to work well and is healthy.Simmer with the powdered herb for about 10 to 15 minutes and stir the weed in good.
