sorry to hear about Skippy man, losing a pet is the same as losing a part of the family (which they are)

i have 3 cats and one is almost 12, been with me the whole time too, i named him Archie after Archie Bunker 'cause he always sits in my chair, lol.

anyway, sorry again for Skippy's passing and thanks for sharing it here.

damn dutch...that really sucks man...i prefer my dogs to people...and my oldy patches, in pic...is 11 and has bone spurs on here knees bad...she is going to be leaving us soon...I just gotta decide when i am being selfish...losing a dog is sometimes harder than losing a person close to you....

Hey Dutch I ALSO had to have 1 of my aminals who was old cat I had to put to sleep so i know how it feels you are going to miss Skippy.

and also 4 years ago my weener dog was taken from my yard in the night and was brutally killed.

news crew came over and talked to me about what had happend.
and the ppl who did it never got busted for there crime.

but on the good side of it. this old indian who lived 100s of miles away from my city. saw it on the news and wanted to meat me so he could give me a weener puppy dog who is now 4 years old.
and she is my best friend ever.

and it took a while for me to get over the pain. but I kinda did.

Dutch, lots of love coming your way from here and heaven! Skippy's still trying to send u early warnings!! I have been there too many times. Took me 3 mos. to even tell anyone after my first loss, never had anything take me down so hard. Know how ya feel! :(

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Skippy looked like he was a fine dog! I'm going to go light one up in honor of skippy and spend some time with my schnauzer.

She's getting old herself and I feel your pain over the loss of skippy. I'm not sure if I'll be able to maintain the same composure as you when the time comes.

Good luck Dutch. If you were near me I'd say let's hang out and smoke up today and just remember/talk about Skippy. :thumbsup:

Sorry to hear of your dog Skippys demise...We had to Rotties who lived 14yrs..brothers..one outlasted the other guy, by almost a year...it was like losing my kid, as they have become...they are/were our other "kids"...

Remember all the "good ole days" with Skippy when you fire one up in his honor...it just goes to show you, we cant live with them sometimes, and mostly we can't live without them...as we got another rottie, this time a rescue from the kennel...

My ex is taking care of the 4 legged kids right now. This made me very lonely. Called and talked to the kids today. Will get a vist (without lawyers in between) this week! Thanks for guiding me back to where my true heart is! Skippy is a blessing to me! Not his loss, his excellent memory!
