Hi fellow medical patients,

I have an urgent question, is there any way or place that i can keep close daily watch on the movements of the assembly bill 2279 that is being passed onto senate? It is regarding the persecution of medical employees at work. This is super relevant to me because i have a job interview in about 2 weeks and it would be nice if i was protected by then for the urine test i have to take. Any help appreciated!

this from today's NORML daily news ... MPP.org also keeps up with all the latest news ...

Quote:

California: The state Assembly approved Assembly Bill 2279 this week by a vote of 42-29. The measure now awaits action by the Senate. If passed, AB 2279 would protect patients from employment discrimination on the basis of their state-licensed medical cannabis use in off-work hours.

Hi Larme
you can keep a eye on it here:

Contact Officials - NORML (http://capwiz.com/norml2/issues/alert/?alertid=11090156)

you can also click on elected officials link and write them a email.
If everyone in the US who uses cannabis would send them a email our fight would be over so plz send a email
