i've always wondered this question, and it has served as a pretty good icebreaker for me in years past
do people that were born blind have dreams?
i was thinking that in good dreams they feel soft and fluffiness all around them,
and nightmares are a bed a nails or something

I would say no, arent dreams just a bunch of images you have collected over the years randomly put together? at least thats
what ive always thought. So if you've never seen anything what would your brain put together?

People that were born blind, or many that went blind at a very early age, do not have images in their dreams. They experience dreams that involve other senses such as auditory, smell, taste, and touch. People who went blind as older children, or adults, retain visual types of dreams and some have the senses added.

blind people do dream they also see in their dreams, clearly lucidly
my Mother is blind from Mackular disease
Mom had good sight in her younger years cept for bifocals MY Dear Mom struggles daily as to 'why her?'
I tell her because "God thought she could "handle it" better than anybody else".
I wonder
how do you describe the color sky blue?
To someone thats never seen color
Theres a 'special place' in the heart of a 'blind person'
the 'happy place' in ones' human heart' compensates greatly for disabilities
