The bags are definately the best way to go. I used to do the oil thing but since I picked up a set of bags that is no longer. The hash you can produce with these clever devices is the most potent and tasty stuff around. I actually enjoy it more than the best buds off the plants.
If you are into gardening or have access to a lot of trim, it is well worth the investment. There are a number of sizes available - 1, 5 and 20 gallon. The 1 is totally useless. The 5 is about perfect for the average person. You can easily yield 1 oz of dried hash per run. The 20 gallon is for the mega producer - makes me drool thinking about how much it would produce.
I have a 5-gallon set I purchased online from www.resinextractor.com. They work great for me and I have used them quite a few times now. $100bucks for a 3-bag set.

Howdy HSM,
I went to the link you provided and to bubblebags.com,clearly bubblebag.com is overpriced, and I had trouble gitting the products pages to come up,it said no such page found..maybe they're trying to block US isp's ?
surrey: Howdy ! It looks like the 20 gallon bubblebags from HSM's link, would be the best choice,in regards to the bubble bag method..do you have a link to the iceolator site ?
Have a good one-both of y'all...:)

i bought the 7 bag, 5 gal set of bubblebags for last fall's harvest and was very impressed. got it through gypsy's auction site (seedbay.com) for $285, incl s/h. got over 3 oz's of high quality hash from a lb. of trim and the loose lower buds. easy to follow instructions and easy to clean when done (washing machine does the trick).
but the 5 bag system is enough...i only use 4 of the 7 after running a few buckets through the strainers and streamlining the process. it also works well with brick shit...turns that nasty stuff into tasty chunks!

As far as I am concerned, the 7 bags sets are way too many. It just stretches out the time to produce and gives you a whole pile of grades that frankly I cannot really tell the difference between.
I find the 3-bag system is more than enough and gives you a #1 and #2 grade of hash. I guess the 5-bag system would also give you a #3 and #4 but I don't really think it is worth the extra effort and the cost to purchase a set with more bags.
Well thats my opinion anyhow.
