ORLANDO, Fla., May 25 (UPI) -- The one thing you don't want to do when you buy a ghost in a bottle is open it, says a Florida man who makes the novelties with the help of "ghost catchers."

That would let the ghost back out, said John Deese, who vows that his team finds the ghosts in "haunted establishments, cars, hotels, maybe even graveyards." The St. Augustine, Fla., man told WKMG-TV of Orlando, Fla., they then stuff the captured spirits into bottles, which he sells on the Internet.

The first ghost was caught in a farmhouse in Decatur County, Ga., he said. Asked how a ghost is bottled, Deese told the station, "Well, if you went to KFC, you wouldn't ask for (their) secret recipe."

Prominently displayed on the bottles is the warning "open at your own risk."

Another crazy story that makes you doubt the human race.

Does this mean people actually fork over money for this shit? I didn't know there was a market for this sort of thing.


And if I was a ghost I would be pissed off about being trapped in a jar. But I thought ghosts can walk through walls........but glass is too much?

The spirits of the dearly departed can walk through walls, pass through solid earth, and even span the gap between planes of existence, but they cant get through the walls of an old whiskey bottle. Hmmmmmmmm.
Are the folks at Jack Daniels and Jim Beam aware of the awesome power the've harnessed?

This has to be a serviced patronized solely by inbred morons (likely from that guys own neighborhood) and whacked out superstitious nut jobs.
And has anyone asked the guy if he feels like an ass for trapping the souls of the dead in bottles?
This guy can't belive his own crap cause if he did he'd be looking down the barrel of the worst haunting ever in paranormal history once those ghosts get free.

I have many bottles of "spirits" but none of actual ghosts.

This guy is asking for serious trouble. Remember when the city shut down the ghost storage device in Ghostbusters? All hell broke lose! What if this guy has an accidental "spill' and releases a bunch of angry ghosts all at once?

Bottled demons are great in cocktails.

Demonhattan

2 measures bottled demon
1 measure rosso vermouth
1 dash bitters
1 maraschino cherry
Ice

Place ice in shaker.
Add bottled demon, vermouth and a dash of bitters.
Shake biefly and strain into a cocktail glass or pour unstrained into an old-fashioned glass.
Add cherry as garnish.

Serve to an unsuspecting victim and enjoy the show as thier head spins around in circles, they speak in tongues, and puke gallons of pea soup!
