Man uses pepper spray to ward off squirrel

ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 2 (UPI) -- New York officials said they were called to a Rochester neighborhood after a man tried getting a squirrel to leave his home by using pepper spray.

Emergency officials arrived at the home Sunday afternoon to rinse out the eyes of five people who were present when the pepper spray was released, said Scott Williams, deputy fire chief of the Rochester Fire Department.

Firefighters tuned on fans in the home to get rid of the lingering pepper spray, the Rochester (N.Y.) Democrat & Chronicle reported.

"When the fire department went in and opened up all of the windows, the squirrel decided to leave. I guess he figured his work there was done," Williams said.

I always feed the squirrels in the park by my house.I kinda think they are cute but i guess some people dont like them.

I feed the squirrels too.

We have multiple corn feeders for them and they get peanuts.

We feed the birds too. It's nice to sit and watch them through the window.

hahaha....that must have been a hilarious thing to see. I can picture it...women and kids screaming, men shouting obsenities, and some goofball flailing around chasing a squirrel with a can of pepper spray coating everything in his path. good times.

Rebgirl their ok when they are outside but inside your house is another thing but using pepper spray would be pretty hard to do cause those squirrels sure move fast.Good times indeed

Rebgirl the first time i saw that movie i was 18 and on mushrooms smoking thai stick and drinking beer and everyone in the room laughed there asses off the whole time,i didnt stop laughing till the movie was over.It has got to be one of the funniest movies ever.When the Scotsman was describing the monster in the cave"aye its the most evil vile thing youD ever lay your eyes on"then the rabbit comes out from the cave and attacks everyone wow fucking funny.

My Dad got me into it. When he was in the Navy he lived in Australia for a year or two and really got into it. He was into it before w/ the Flying Circus stuff but he really got into it there. Now I love it all.

We would watch it and smoke together and just laugh and laugh. He liked the Black Knight who wouldn't give up even thouh he was missing arms and shit haha.

I would die to see Spamalot.
