help with cloning, please.

i take a cutting i dip it in dip n grow then i put it in a cup filled with wet perlite. i put a cover over the cup and i wait weeks......
is there another way ? is there something i'm doing wrong.

I just use quality potting soil with the rooting powder. It takes about 2 weeks for the roots to take hold and the plant to start growing. You just have to have patience.

Not quite sure; your other variables are:
-light
-temps
-photoperiod
-treatment of the cutting itself

That method can work if you get the variables all dialed in appropriate to each other. There is more than one way to skin a cat if you understand its anatomy, lol. Remember, the roots like oxygen, and mold prevention is very important. If you use perlite, I'd actually punch holes in the cup for oxygen penetration and then put the whole thing under a good sized dome.

You must not allowed the cutting to stay out in the air to long.You have to put the cuttings in water right away as soon as u cut them,and soon as your ready dip in the root hormones and put it in the dirt but make sure the soil is moist then contine to spray the leafs daily but make sure the soil dont dry out and you should be ok and also take enough cuttings because some will not make it and some will hope this helps

I take the cutting and dip the cut in natural honey, I then plant them in good potting compost..
Works every time for me. :D

you can make a cloner that'll do the job also, i've had almost 100% success with mine.

cloning can be tricky and some methods work wonderfully for some folks and dismally for others, if you try something and it doesn't work, try something else.

your method for cloning worked for me 4 trys and 4 sucesses. in rooting compound then straight into soil.
