The biggest problem with most things in the UK is down to the levels of tax levied on everything. Petrol and Diesel carry a 70% levy which means that over two thirds of what we pay at the pump goes into the goverment treasury.

lol I'm assuming these music video's are from the 1970's oil crisis? In any case your right we've known for years in fact waaay before the 70's. Experts have known that oil was going to run out eventually since they first began to extract it. The problem is their predictions were a little off and in fact it wasn't until recently when we finally realized this gas issue is comming waay faster than we anticipated. Man I remember a few years back scholars we're talking about oil running out 60 to 70 years from now.
