If I were you, I would stay the *fuck* away from weed in Honduras. "... it is not unusual for American citizens to be held in Honduran prisons for over a year before being sentenced for possession of small quantities of marijuana."
From he Honduran U.S. Embassy at Embassy of the United States of America (http://honduras.usembassy.gov/english/mission/sections/con_17.htm)
Then again, this map (link = ยป World-cannabis-laws.png - My Confined Space (http://www.myconfinedspace.com/?attachment_id=19769)) shows that the laws there are often unenforced. So I guess chance it if you want... I personally wouldn't risk it. Rule number one in my rule-book of international travel. Don't do ANYTHING illegal in other countries. Most countries have very, very, very terrible legals systems that will rape you (figuratively and literally).

I read the Embassy webpage and was going to say the same thing. If you want to safely smoke weed in another country, save up your bucks and go to Holland.

Every country I've traveled too since age 17, I've boughten local product and loved to smoking in whatever country I was in. Small amounts of marijuana are usually administrative fines, if anything, in most of western Europe, Australia, Mexico & Canada. You can bribe most officials in central and southern America as well as Africa, and the majority of the south Pacific.
You only have to worry when you get into Asian or Middle-Eastern countries. Small amounts of anything in those countries will get you FUCKED for years if you're not careful.

You should have no problem coping some weed there I would bet it is SHwag... I would just mail it to your hotel United State Postal Service Priority International Mail. I always put a 1/2 or a OZ in a food saver bag and pull the air out and stick it in between a magazine. Let the hotel know you will be receiving important work and inquire about a fax and computer conections...
