Paranoid? No.
Xenophobic? Absolutely yes.
And you forgot one poll option.
"I don't eat that crap anyway, and I despise and fear their evil corporate asses WAY more than I fear any random person wearing something that looks like a keffiyeh."
But choice #1 works too. :D

Ha ha! I love a cornball pun...

I voted "Yes" on the poll, but only because I think Dunkin' Donuts seeks to bring down the US by selling sub-standard donuts and crappy coffee. The scarf thing is ridiculous, but I would actually rather see Rachel Ray support Al Qaeda than support freakin' Dunkin' Donuts. Here is how I see it playing out:

Rachel Ray walks into her local Dunkin' Donuts and says, "I'd like a cinamon roll and a large keffiyeh to go, please."

A nearby fan of her show Gaza on 40 Dollars a Day tells her, "You better lay off the donuts Rachel, you're starting to look like you've got a bomb vest under your sweater."

At that point Rachel Ray yells, "Allah maplebar!" and detonates an Improvised Explosive Donut (IED), ripping the place to pieces with thousands of bits of rainbow sprinkle shrapnel.

This is the same kind of crap that went around inboxes for a long time. Its nothing but a bunch of BS, and somebody with nothing better to do is trying to stir the pot.

Well, I agree that the idea that Dunkin Donuts or Rachel Ray were sympathizing with jihadist by her wearing a scarf is completely assinine. It was a fashion accessory with no hidden meaning whatsoever.

But are you saying that this hubbub never happened? Most of the mainstream media have reported it as a true story, unilike the other Dunkin Donuts stoiries you linked to on Snopes.

Ray did do the commercial for Dunkin Donuts and then some right-wing dumbass moron with nothing better to do started stirring the pot, saying the scarf resembled a keffiyeh and showed a sympathy for jihadists. Dunkin Donuts pulled the ad. That's all true I think. The idiotic part is the controversy over the scarf.
