so we have decided to change up our setup a little. we are goin to put our seeds in coconut fiber for a couple days. we will then put our fiber in a larger rockwool. they are being waterd with a drip irrigation. they will be under 2 42w cfl (day light) and 1 20w (white light) for 18hrs a day. we are using general hydroponics liquid fert with a schedule we found on these forums. how many times and for how long should we water these babies?? and does anyone have a nutient schedule appropriate for GH solution???

After about a month (or before flowering stage) we will transfer the rockwool to a DWC setup. the pots will have 10" diameter which will be sitting in 5 gallon buckets. each bucket has a airstone from a heavy duty pump. the rockwool will b covered with hydroton. the water will come up to about 1" on the pot almost touching the rockwool and it will be containing the same GH fert with specified amounts. here are plants will be sitting under a 1000w hps for 12hrs a day, hopefully yielding an 0z each. please lemme know any problems i might encounter. our seeds will arrive in a week or so. just trying to get everything planned out for a smooth growing cycle.
thanks for any help
Peace:rasta:

hey dude, i didn't want to jack wman's thread, he seemed like he was getting a little jerked.

to answer your question 'after u take the clone out of the foam. do u put it straight in hydroton in a net pot?'

yeah, go to my log, post #83 - 88, there you will find a complete explaination with pics.

if you still have questions, ask them in my log, that way noone will feel like we jacked his thread

thanks man...i have figured out how i wanted to do it thanks to your posts. just tweaking it a lil to fit my system. im just gonna start the clone in coconute fiber and then just put that in the hydroton. its alot small and the roots will grow out of it quick and give the stem a lil stability. oh and by the way the first post on this thread is now how im doin my system anymore...completely dwc throughout. already great results in a few days.
