If you could change the country that you live in what country would you choose and why.
I have a feeling there are a lot of you's will opt for Holland, I wonder why!;)
Australia would be my choice, I just think it's a nice place.

Holland Would be a nice place not just because of the legal bud but also because I have a best friend who lives there. Though he said the place sucked and though the pot was good the people just sucked.

I couldn't disagree more.
The people are intelligent , polite and friendly or there is no way I would've lived there for over 12 years , IMO your friend is talking out of the wrong orifice. :D
I would go back there right now if I could.
Other than Netherland I would probably opt for Canada.

Ive never been to europe so I could say "Holland cause weed weed weed!!" but thats retarded cause everyone knows living somewhere just cause weed is legal seems a bit unrealistic.......

but seriously, Id live right here in Oregon.... cause Texas, Cali, Florida , N & S Carolina, and Idaho are not my cup of tea.....

Colorado is Nice.... I could live there......

thats the great thing about the US, a different state IS like a different country.....

I'd much rather Ron Paul be elected in America...Then I think as long as the constitution is followed America would be a pretty kickass place...

I don't like the idea of warrantless searches one bit...

Well... while i would like to know as many countries as possible, im almost sure i wont ever find a better place to live than my own country... there is no wars, no (strong) earthquakes, no (strong) hurricanes, the weather is very nice (even if a bit too hot sometimes), there is (still) plenty of food, water, forests...
And, well... i live in the so-called "Wonderful City"... everybody from other countries who comes here and knows it always wants to come back... so why i would ever want to leave here?

I enjoyed visiting Denmark very much, and the Danish people were among the friendliest I've ever met. I'd probably like living there, but there's little chance that will happen anytime soon.

Ireland also seemed like it would be a very nice place to live.

I would not change or trade my Country to live in, as far as it were my choice and even then I would op in fighting to stay here. Unless I get the choice of outer space or my own Island somewhere. Then Im packing up and taking everything with me.

Thanks for the replies you guys.
I would like to say that the weed is not legal in Holland, it is tolerated and in some parts of Holland it is frowned upon.

Probably a place like Fiji or some other small pacific island. I would live like Tom Hanks in the movie Cast Away. I would grow weed and get stoned with my best friend called "Wilson".

Australia yes but the city no, give me the wild side of life and the indigenous people.
One thing that would put me off is the way that the Aboriginal are looked down upon, I mean WTF its their country.

Yer and historys not been kind to them, I was driving from Cains to Alice springs in a 4x4. On the first night I kipped in the van in the out back, it was so dark me and the israel girl i was traveling with desided to pull up next to some trees (if you can call them that).

Next day there was hundreds of Aboriginal kids outside playing all round the van. When we got out we realised we'd parked next to one of there camps. Quite daunting really all the the mums and dads just a little way off, and we where the centre of attention.

Couldnt think of anything to say so quickly left them to there own business! :D good times

I have to say that the landscape up your way is the best in England. I grew up in the Durham area and I've been a biker for over 30 years and I love the north east and west The lakes are beautiful, the twisty roads through the Pennines.
If I headed south there were the long winding roads over the moors and heading north the run to Hadrians Wall and back is spectacular.
The whole of the North is the reason I fell in love with the best thing in my life , motorcycles ... :D

Well I was thinking a pacific island or something, but im sure at some point you'd be over the beaches and landscape, I need fat events and shows to go to.

Im thinking Thailand or Cambodia if I were to go anywhere id want to have to make some radical life style changes, live a totally new non western life.

How about what the Americans did to there First Nations, they tried to kill them all! Canada also treated our First Nations poorly, but there is some progress being made but it is a long way away considering how much in poverty most of the reserves are in. But the First Nations around where I am are the second wealthiest Band in Canada, they are wealthier than the majority here.

I wouldn't want to leave Canada, but if I did it would be for Australia.

Yes and all for money, gold and land, the way i see it is it all belongs to the people that were the inhabitants of any country before they were invaded by other countries.:(

I've been there a few times.
One of my favourite places to go used to be Seahouses , when I lived in Elswick in Newcastle my gf lived there so I would follow the old A1 (A167 these days) I know that route like the back of my hand and I've needed to sometimes. :D

I do not condone riding a motorcycle whilst stoned and/or drunk and I have to admit I will be eternally sorry for the one time I did ,,,,

I've lived half my life on one side of the world and half on the other. I'd say it doesn't matter where you live as long as you have great friends.

Of course, some places are probably better than others.
