I get red-eye, cottonmouth, and dry lips pretty bad.
Eye-drops work just perfectly, but cottonmouth and dry lips bother me a lot.
If I smoke every day for a week my lips will be very chapped. They'll be very dry even when I'm not high.

chapstick can be used to reduce dry lips. Cottonmouth fixing is a nice cold drink, or possibly a chloroseptic. I'll have to try a chloroseptic next time i smoke.(before and after)/

chapstick really helps with moisture lost from the lips, other than that is drink a lot of water and if your hungry eat some juicy fruit.

I love my red eyes.
I get cottonmouth sometimes and my throat gets irritated.I just made a habit of carrying my drink with me.I drink pink lemonade either crystal light or minute maid. But I always carry it with me when I go for a smoke.
Another altrnative I found.
Lifesavers.......I always have those in my waistbag and they work GOOD!

dude, this whole last week ive not had my eye drops, my house has a serious lack of beverages, i wont drink the tap water unless i want cancer, and i dont get dry lips.
so to cure the red eye, i do nothing
to cure the drymouth i do nothing, and nothing really works
the best way to go through a bottle of juice in 3 minutes is to drink it for cottonmouth, yes it will get rid of the smokey dry, but you'll still be dry.
my best solution to all the issues is to eat and blame allergies

Yep, gum makes you produce more saliva because it's sweet and it makes your mouth think you're eating. ;)

Also, to avoid harsh smoke on your throat... have a HALLS cough-candy during or while smoking. ;)

haha, how many other ways are you expecting to reduce dry mouth besides drinking liquids?
try doing naked sit ups in your parents room in the middle of the night, that always works....

Liquids. Any kind of your choice. Water is good on hot days, or that company that makes those veggies/fruit juice drinks. Strawberry and banana is the best one.
Gum is not the best for getting rid of dry mouth as that's a temp. solution. You'll have to keep eating piece after piece, which just dries yourmouth out worse. I'd say 95% of gum these days is sugar-free. Sugar is not bad for you! Instead, they put Aspertane (sp?), an artificial sweetner, which deydrates you even more, thus, drying your mouth out.
So avoid gum. Liquid.
Two great options:
a) Iced Tea (Lipton or Nestea)
b) McDonalds Ice Cream Cones (99c)
