I read what I could about it via google searches; I was wondering if someone here could speak up about their experience getting an MMJ license.

I have chronic knee pain; and although I have yet to see a doctor for it; I am going to be going to several appointments to get it checked out in the next few weeks...

Thanks in advance!

In my experiance you need records of an on going problem (doctors records)

I do not have a card, but should and was turned away.... and the reason was ( I completly understand, no worries) that Im currently on nothing (Medication) for my back (Tethered Cord Syndrome) or for my many problems that I got at birth (neurogenic bladder, posterior urethral valve syndrome) so I was turned away before I even saw the doctor, which was fine by me, cause they have laws they have to follow and I wouldnt want someone breaking one, just to get me a MMJ card.

However if I was more advent about getting a card, i would just go to my regular doctor and say my back is hurting so bad i cant work, blah blah, i have no apitite (from my other probs) blah blah, i need meds blah blah. But im not that kind of person.

Also they need RECENT (at least a month) doctor visit with your primary care physician.

If your knee hurts soooo bad, that you need MMJ go for it, but if its something that only hurts when its cold outside or when you're being physical, dont abuse a system that is currently working (IN OREGON at least)

I didn't mean to talk about me so much, but it gives you a handle in retrospec, on what you need to get MMJ approved. GL

there are definitely half-assed Physicians that sell Med-MJ recommendations to anyone with a fistful of money, and that can only hurt the Med-MJ reputations everywhere :wtf: ... like the '60 Minutes' TV program showing teens getting their cards for ridiculous reasons :wtf: ... otherwise, you have to have serious medical complications, something that is NOT worth the trade-off, just to smoke pot ... if you have good health, you're very lucky, take care of it
