We have recented moved some White Whidow plants outside in the sun and they have had days solid sunlight , and the leaves have turned white.
The plants look healthy , but the leaves are really white , my friend seems to think this is spider bite...Do spiders attack cannabis?
Also i have another post and another user kindly suggested it was most probably sun burn , as i put them out into direct sunlight too soon.

Spider bite or sunburn , whats the verdict?

Thanks

Sunburn. Spiders eat bugs. They don't bite plants. Your friend might have meant spider MITES though. Actually the bugs we are concerned with are 2-spotted mites but if the damage looks 'speckly' you should immediately treat with a light mist of gardensafe fungicide 3. It's at any box store in the garden section.

But what are spider mites , are these things that we can get on plants in the UK?
Your right i think the leaves look speckly , and some on the lower leaves have turned completly white.
I will get some fungaside , to kill them , and spray as you recommend.
Can we get these spider mites in the UK?
Thanks again

I'd think spider mites are universal.

They're everywhere (almost) and are one of the worst problems. Kill em dead fast or you'll be sorry. Search the other, and extensive spider mite threads. I think stinky is right about the sunburn though. Pictures?
