'Skunk' in the UK lately

First of all please dont flame me for using the 'wrong section'. Ifi have then i apologise in advance. It seems that there is growing trend on Internet forums now to answer everything with 'Use the search facility noob that's what its there for'

When i used to come on here im sure it was totally different, had a section which says 'experiences' etc it was much better laid out and had better sections, im sure there was a UK section...

Anyway to my point, there seems to be no more sprayed weed (grit) being imported into the UK anymore, everyone seems to have cottoned onto the fact its absolutely shit, but lately there is weed which looks fine by appearance but doesnt smoke properly?

For instance, if you make a bong it burns black instead of white ash. Or if you were to roll a joint the ash doesnt flick off.

All i can think of is that someone's grew a big batch and messed it up by not drying it properly or something, in which case there probably wont be much more of this stuff. But if more of it keeps appearing then its obvious someone's up to something and ripping people off

Does anyone know anything about this stuff ?

I can agree. Picked up a half O 2 months ago and it went down great. Picked up a Half O 2 weeks ago and the stuff just burns black and ashes funny but gets me fucking high. Not cured properly maybe?

hmm..by the sounds of it(clumpy black ash that is hard to flick) seems like it might not be a weed problem but a packing the joint prob. Try rolling a bit more loose with it...and make sure its ground super fine...and see if that takes away the black clump of doom;)
I know if I roll super wet sticky weed and it's packed too tight/not ground enough then i get that black clump.
If its not that... then yeah, that sucks...

I've noticed the exact same thing. I live in Birmingham. I've got no idea where my dealer gets his weed to be honest. It seems to be a bit better recently, around christmas time seemed to be really bad for poorly-burning weed. It almost made me doubt my rolling skillz, but my friends found the same too. The stuff got me as stoned as ever so it wasn't a huge problem, still, it's interesting to hear that people who aren't using my dealer are getting the same problem..

Yes, listen to me, it's important. That black ash doesn't burn because it's sprayed, it potentially has glass balls on it to make it look more 'skunky.' I've been in the same situation mate, it will get you high but it's not worth it. It is actually bad for your health. Don't smoke that SHIT. It can look perfectly great but when smoked, that's when you can tell. Find a new dealer or tell him you're not interested in that sprayed grade, don't fall for it, and again, don't smoke it, it will make your throat sore and make you feel ill. Luckily i've just found someone new and the bud is clean so i urgently suggest you do the same, this is no laughing matter unfortunately, there are infact many pricks who will shot to you and they know their grade is sprayed.

sounds like he's spot on... I've had it here in canada too... there's 100x scope you can buy for 30 dollars.. I guess 10 quid ( i think) that would easily show you if its sprayed...

It was probably harvested early, insufficiently dried, not flushed, and overferted. On a humid day (I hear those happen occasionally in Merrie Olde England?), if you leave your nugs out, they might even GAIN weight from all the nasty fert salts in there still. I've seen it happen in extreme cases.

I refuse to smoke skunk anymore in ENGLAND its bullshit im sticking with hash (pollen nice yellow fluffy gets you high and no hard ash bullshit.

Its the connects we have here in england there just aint enough about anymore. The uk growrooms (big) have been busted old bil are cracking down hard on this here in the uk.

5 years ago this shit all started happening. It was because a big importer not mentioning any names was busted and also the EURO kicked in so the exchange rate from the dam to england is getting worse and worse. Your losing out on 400k before you even start shipping. WE CANT AFFORD £4,500 on a kilo so there bringing it in cheap (mixed) £2,200 meaning in a kilo of weed 1000 grams your getting an 28 grams of good quality skunk WTF 1 in 36 that is so much bullshit i wanna kill myself!! the rest is dust, contaminated (harvested early to make up the weight or sprayed but i dont know what they can spray it with, its all harvested early and friends i know who are getting this are picking it up and sending it straight back or throwing it away. THIS SHIT AINT THE WAY


question is though will it get better?

3. sugary substance (glucose maybe)
4. now were on to an evolves as stinky said this beasters over ferted bullshit and i dont know what to do coz i dont grow and i've been all round london and i think of myself of knowing a few people and its all the same shit you may be able to find something but its homegrown bullshit might be a bit nie to smoke but it aint taking you to the moon!! wheres all the high, it aint here in the uk anymore FACT


IDEA - we all build a underground bunker (way deep underground and grow SHIT loads of HIGH grade punk NO spray, No early harvest, no nothing just good shit............ whos with me?

One of many reasons I don't chuff anymore, ALOT of weed here at the mo is pants and aint worth a sausage!! Too many dealer scumbags out to make a quick buck!
