If a young vegging cannabis plant is exposed to 4hours of light followed by 36hours of darkness what damage has been done? & will it produce a hermifaaccceedd villain?

I highly doubt it, but you've lost a few days growth.
The 36 hours of darkness isn't a herm-causing problem, but the 4 hours of light could have started the plant into flowering. Get it back on a regular light schedule and you should be just fine. Maybe think about how to prevent this kind of situation for the next time.
Happy growing, Frost!

Gee...no shit...? BTW...cannabis does not switch from veg to flower because of one day off the schedule. Period.
Cannabis is pretty resilient while in veg, so there should be no problems if situation that caused the concern was quickly corrected.
I live in the desert, where power outages are common. No signs of stress as a result of them yet, though. But keep in mind, I have only dealt with the outages for a few years, so my experience is limited.
You really don't want this to happen during flower, though.

lol @ Rusty, I was just tryin to be nice to the guy!
I agree that the plant isn't going to show flowers the next day, but it definitely got the wheels turning, and that's really all I said. Cannabis will flower with less than 12 hours of light. Period. lol
