Got a med card but the in-laws think cannabis is the Devil's Weed?
What about a walk-in closet?
Yeah? Well, cool. All ya need is a couple shelf supports, some scrap lumber, half a dozen long sheetrock screws, and a bunch of evening gowns.
Problem solved!
Don't forget to pop an exhaust hole up into the attic crawlspace, and I suggest putting the whole thing on an outlet that you can cut power to when the doorbell rings.
This is a relatively low wattage mother/clone/work room. The lighting is 5- 4', 2-bulb, T12 fixtures with a combination of 'cool white' and 'daylight' tubes. The total is 400 watts. The exhaust is currently a 4" inline duct fan. Running a HID I'd go up to an air-cooled hood with a blower for this small space.
The shelving is set up for cloning- there are 2 shelves under the work space to hold extra trays and a waste box that can be pulled out to brush trimmed leaves into. Above, there's 2 shelves each with enough vertical clearance to comfortably hold a prop dome and allow it to be lifted and misted.
The moms are on a 2x4 tray and there's a pair of 6" x 4' leach trays behind that are set up to hold a total of 12 rooted clones in pots of hydroton on a containerized NFT system during the 2 weeks' veg time it takes them to really get solidly established before moving into a flower room. The moms are in soil at the moment, but that tray can be used in any manner you like- vertical containerized NFT, ebb n flow, drip to waste, recirc, soil drip, hand watered, whatever you like.
All that and you can grab an old bridesmaid dress on yer way out. Honestly, baby blue just never was my color...
