Leafs on the top of one of my older plants are starting to curl up. Has been slightly mutant since germination(cotyledons died, four leaf sets, first few leaf sets were slightly deformed).

Other problem is a seedling which is starting to develop yellow tips. Think it may just be ready to start a feeding regiment, but I'd like some opinions first.

E-indoor
E-soil
E-specific medium- Both are in fox farms ocean mix. Seedling was in light warrior until it was transplanted a few days ago.
SCL-Anything you have added to the soil Older plant has received one feeding of 1/4 nutes(techniflora set). This was around 7 days/2 waterings ago.
SCLR-Soil or slab runoff pH Runoff of older plant is 6.3-6.7 range(only have a color chart ph kit atm, digital otw:thumbsup:)
E-Water source- tap water(starting to think it may be low on mag and cal, have had spotting on some of the older plants which was corrected with MagiCal from techniflora)
E-Source water pH out of the tap its 7-7.3. I adjust it as close as I can to the 6.5-6.8 range with pH down.
E-Age of plant Older plant is about 3.5 weeks from seed. Seedling is about 1.5 weeks from seed.
E-Type of fertilizer Techniflora(only used on older plant so far)
E-Rate of application 1/4 dose first feedling, plan to feed on a water, water, feed schedule and step it up to 1/2 dose the second feeding
E-Lighting source and distance from plant Older plant is under a air cooled 600w mh which is 20" from this particular plant. Younger plants under 2 4' flouro tubes about an inch and a half to two inches away.
E-Air temperature Room Temp for the older plant is in the 77-84 range depending on the time of day. Temp at the canopy stays around 82-83 degrees under the lights. Younger plant is in a closet which stays at a pretty consistent 79 degrees unless it is exceptionally hot outside. Never over 82.
E-Air % Relative humidity Consistent 35-45 in both rooms.
E-Lighting schedule Older plants under an 18/6 schedule(mh goes off during hottest part of the day), seedlings under 24/7 lighting.
E-Type of ventilation your room has In the grow tent with the mh running a 460 cfm exhaust fan, which pulls air from the room through the light and exhausts it under the house. Intake are passive vents in the tent. Also has a oscillating fan moving air in the room(pointed away from plants). Closet the seedlings in just has a small desk fan moving air, and a box type fan blowing hot air out of the closet.

Tried to get a better picture of the curling but my camera died. You can clearly see the yellowing tips on the seedling though.

Fox Farm Ocean Mix has a PH of 7.0 constant. Believe me I'm going through it now the best PH testers all the PH down repl cal and mag. The oceanic SUCKS for people who want to blast it back with nutes unless you can get the PH to a lower level which I did by mixing a good Bach of water with PH down the level of water was 2.6 LOL really only the strong survive.. LOL Out of them all my hardiest mother got fucked up but all the rest are doing good now just been hitting them with a flush for four days and tomorrow will start back on the nutes they leveled off @ 6 TWO ARE STILL @ 5.6-5.7. Really the Ocean mix is for people who don't want nutes why pay all that money to have to wash it away? They claim it will balance out @ 6.2 after 2-3 weeks If anything I will use it with a mix next time and get my cow shit Lime PRO Mix castings and some Oceanic maybe if I can clean up the mess It started for me. Your plants are small though just wait till the next transplant and cut alot of OCEANIC out especially if you are going to be using any nutrients. I have Babbie's in it NOW and will not hit them with any nutes and they are doing awesome under a T5.. Well hope I helped out a little good luck...:thumbsup::thumbsup::jointsmile:

Was a ph problem. Guess I'm colorblind! Got my digital meter today and realized my tap water is 8.5, and my pH adjusted water was in the 7.3-7.5 area :( Lightly flushed the seedling I posted, and any others that were starting to yellow at the tip. Leaves uncurled on the older one, so I'm just going to leave it and give all of my older plants a light flush of correctly pHed water when they need to be watered. Hopefully everything recovers nicely.
