Best way to control the odor in my apt?

I live on the 2nd floor of a 3 story apt building and was wondering if i left my window open where my homemade enclosure is and just pointed my fan towards the window to let out the smell.....will the smell travel only up? or will the smell of the marijuana plants penetrate down to the street?

I already have ordered some Ona Odor Control gel, but I just wanna make sure since the odor is a whole lot more pungent when the air conditioning is off and my windows are closed! And when I start my new job soon, I will not be home to guard against maintanence people or inspectors from coming in.

I just want to make sure I dont get caught! :)

The best way would be with an ozone generator or carbon scrubber. Once outdoors the odor will go wherever the breeze is blowing, which could be straight down (wind shear).
