I'm Considering relocating to CA to get relief in the form of Medical Marijuana. I suffer from a litany of ailments (GERD, Diabetes, Hyper Tension, High Blood Pressure, Depression, and Sleep Apnea) and I take a lot of prescription meds which are somewhat ineffective. Does anyone know if any of my symptoms would qualify for a MMJ referral?:(

As long as it's in your medical records, it seems to be no prob. The doctor I saw didn't seem to care beyond covering his own ass. You sound worse off then a lot of people I know with cards lol

Try detoxifying your body and then, change your drug and toxic intake. :hippy:

I know this is an older thread but I wanted to bump it and say that I think my GERD was caused by a combination of Prilosec and Tramadol.

GERD sucks... I've got it really bad, and when I don't have any OTC meds handy, it can get really really uncomfortable. If you have a GERD "attack" and are unable to get to any meds, try drinking some whole milk- it coats the esophagus with a mucous, and tries to normalize the pH in your stomach.
But yeah, if you've got those ailments, I don't see why you couldn't get a card. Best of luck!
