Tip-burn is THE classic sign of overfertilization.
To correct, this is the process:
Test the pH of your tap water.
Pour a whole bunch throuch the plant and catch what runs out the bottom.
Test the pH of that.
If it is not in the range 6.4-6.8, you will need to correct it.
Now, how many gallons of dirt do you have?
Take 3x that volume of water, and correct the pH so that it complements the runoff pH- say your runoff is 6.0, you will want to flush with water at 6.8 (the high end). If your runoff is 7.5, you use 6.4 (the low end).
Pour all this water through your plant.
Now, make up a fertilizer solution at 1/2 what teh bottle says to use, and correct the pH to 6.7.
Water lightly with this.
Allow the plant to just chill for a while until it uses up all that extra moisture.
Voila, you now know how to flush an overfertilized plant.
Next question!

haha your prolly gonna laugh when you hear this, but as before i said i am a true noob to growing and these plants havent even had any ferts added yet...i havent gotten into reading about ferts, nutes and a schedule to give them (since im at school right now and finals are coming up) but if you have any advice on a fert schedule and wat kind u recommend....so basically ive just been growing without hardley any knowledge about cannabis cultivation...heres wat ive got so far...
-germinated seeds and transplant a little over 6weeks ago
-6cfls that used to be on 18/6 and now my friend switched it to 24/0
-im gonna need to start flowering these guys in about 3weeks...
stinky you know so much bout growing, could u give me some advice...thanks any input is appreciated...

You sure that you didn't put them into a potting soil with fertilizer already added in that case?
Hm. You gotta feed them SOMETHING anyway! And that tip-burn is coming from somewhere.
So... what brand and type of soil are you using, and what is the source of the water you give them?

im using organic miracle grow soil with no nutes added....im simply using tapwater thats been sitting in a empty milk jug for a day or two...
and its weird that the tip burn is only happening to one plant...it definitly isnt rootbound i just transplanted it a few days ago but it was previously rootbound...
so you got any advice on wat i should use? i wanna start feeding em but i have no clue how to go about this....thanks

That MG Organic still does have nutes in it, which is why your plants actually don't look as bad as they would if you were using a truly nuteless soil. It's entirely possible too that you are seeing symptoms of a problem that you had while the plant was still root bound. You should start looking for a nice 'grow' fertilizer for your next step, or if you are ready to flower (it looks it from here), go for a 'bloom' fertilizer.
Do you have a hydro or specialty gardening shop nearby?
