Hi guys, I've been a lurker for a long time but now I need some advice, or maybe just some assurance...

I have a drug test today. (A pre-employment piss test.) I already have the job but obviously won't get it if I pee dirty.

I haven't smoked in about 8 days. I'm a curvy girl, not fat but definitely not skinny, either. Before I quit, my fiance and I had only been smoking about once a day (if that) because it's been really dry around here. I've been drinking a lot of fluids, but I pee a lot anyway, it's just the way I am. I'm always running to the bathroom. LOL but anyway...

I bought some Strip NC, and YEAH, I know it's not my best bet and I probably wasted $50 bucks. It's worked for me before, however. Now... I'm going to drink this nasty tasting crap in about 10 minutes. My drug test is at 4. With all these factors (haven't smoked in about a week, smoked light before that, etc.) do you experts think I will pass?

I will definitely be back to let you all know if I did or not.

do post up what happened. I have a test tomorrow. Going to try dilution and a magic potion. The more I have been thinking about it I'm temped to go the fake piss route. I havent smoked in 2 weeks myself.

So I took my test Wednesday at 4 after drinking that crappy Strip stuff (gagged the entire time- why does that stuff taste so shitty?) and drinking some water. Not a lot, because I didn't want to be overdiluted, and took some vitamins. My piss came out almost neon green. :wtf:

But anyway. I haven't heard back yet from my job and wonder if it's OK to call the drug test place and ask for my results. Does that look suspicious? Can they tell my employer that I called?

Damn, guys. I'm super nervous over here. Shitting bricks is a pretty apt description!

I wish I could have caught you sooner your best route would have been the qf it has a 100 percent success rate I used it pre-employ and keep a bottle handy for randoms and I never have to worry about smoking. Hope to hear how you did. They won't call and tell you that you pass they will only call when you fail.

Reading all the posts about QF, I really feel I should have gone that route. Next time I definitely will, at least I wouldn't be worrying my ass off over here.

It's Saturday morning and no one has called. I called the nurse yesterday and left a message, and she never called me back, either. Aren't most labs closed on the weekends? The one that tested me was LabCorp. I start Monday and my mother had a good point. She said if I was starting Monday, my employer almost certainly had the results back by yesterday (Friday) because they would want to know before the weekend. I hope she's right. My tummy is in knots!

Usually 2 or 3 days to get the results back. I would just start work monday.

From my experience they will let you start the job then, when the results come back if you're positive they let you know. It's not like they are watching you for Pre-Emp. UA's. Why spend big $$ on "products" ??
