View Full Version : Farmer Rich's Cabinet - 2nd Grow

Ok fellow cabinet growers, this seemed the best sub-forum because of similar grow environments. In my case, I have a 7.5' home built box with a 2' x 4' grow space, 600w lighting and good ventilation.

The first grow was bag seed, ended up with 6 quart jars of pretty good herb, albeit seedy, from 6 plants (one that went hermi). I was concerned about how the hermi came about and checked the box for light leaks and think it's all good. Temp is stable as it can get.. upper 70's - low 80's dependent on external ambient temperature.

This grow I was lucky enough to be given rooted clones: Northern Lights, Chronic, Shiva Shanti, Siberian Frost and a Durban Poison w/No. 1 Skunk. The DP was about 18" tall when I got it, now 3' after vegging 4 weeks. I flipped the entire bunch to 12/12 lighting a week ago Friday and did a leaf pruning about 5 days ago to allow better light penetration. With my hermi experience from the first grow I was beginning to sweat stressing the plants from trimming the leaves. So far everything seems cool though I'm still a little nervous. I do have Dutch Masters Reverse and Penetrator, though I'm hesitant to use it. Anyone have any experience? Stinky?

Hey Chongman! Thanks, good to see what's going on around here! I'll post some better pics once the buds are more developed.

Ok, I think I've worked past my fear of over trimming. For light penetration, I'd really like to take a few more leaves but I'm holding back and figure the buds on the bottom I'll just throw in the hash mix..

Here's a few pics.. yeah, I know I suck at taking them in HPS lighting and the mylar hasn't helped either.

Pics in order: Durban Poison, Siberian Frost, Northern Lights, A Box Getting Crowded.

Any suggestions as to when to add molasses to the nute schedule?

Hey folks! Here's a post of my week 6 pics, the Durban Poison is a bush, also really happy with the Chronic, Northern Lights and Siberian Frost.. The Shiva Shanti doesn't seem to be a big producer, but mine is kinda gangly..

I'm done with nutes but may give them a light dose of molasses one last time. Gettin' close to harvest!!

Well gettin' down to the end of the grow.. The majority of the upper fan leaves have yellowed and are falling off. I was planning on harvesting the upper buds buds at 55 days and giving the lower ones another week. Probably the only thing holding me back from harvesting now is there still seems to be a lot of the pistils that haven't turned yet.. Any comments on harvesting would be appreciated!!

Pics in order: Chronic, Northern Lights x 2, Siberian Frost x 2

Here's the Durban Poison and Shiva Shanti..

Last grow I didn't weigh any of the product, this time I will just to see.. My buddy who hooked me up with the clones is telling me I'm easily looking at a 1/2 pound... Hope so!!!

Farmer Rich just amazing. I'm going to start a grow and after reading your post and seeing the pix youv'e posted just about sinches it. I will start with just one or two plants to see how it goes. The thing that I find most astonishing is the yeild. If I may ask what is the "nute" schedule and why do you add mollasses and how. If you'd like to PM me that will work. That much product would last me 2.5 years of regular daily use. Just amazing!
