when cloning in rockwool is it necesary to have B-1 (Thaimine) in the rooting hormone?

Always use the clone hormone for rooting.

That's not the active ingredient that you will find in rooting compounds. You want indole-3 butyric acid (IBA) which is the active ingredient in products such as dip-n-grow.
