Hi there, yesterday i had to repot my plant from a 11.5 litre pot into the 25 litre bin from my bedroom (cleaned it like crazy first) the thing is my plant is just finishing week 4 of flower and im wondering if this will badly affect her? i read in the faq's that trimming some of the fan leaves at this point can help the root system catch up with the canopy so ive went ahead and trimmed some of the lower fan leaves mainly the ones that were curling or yellowing. Apart from the rootboundness the plant is relativley healthy but i'm just worried that this late in flowering is going to affect my yeild and time of harvest.

Don't worry, transplanting is almost always beneficial- the reasons to do it outweigh the chance of mild transplant shock. Don't trim leaves unless they are already dead. That doesn't 'help the roots catch up'; the roots will do fine on their own. They will find the new soil soon enough.

Cheers stinky, all the leaves i trimmed were from the bottom and were prob gonna die since the cfl doesnt penetrate the canopy. I'll keep u posted on how it goes

Oh right- cfl. Yeah, not much light down there. Speaking of, if you have any scraggly lame growth down under there, you can rub it off before flowering to concentrate flowering energy on the buds nearest the light.

What ive been doin is just giving leaves a small tug and if they come off easy then i figure they r just gonna go, also saves me using scissors that might be dirty but if it doesnt come off then i dont force it.

That's the ticket. You got it.
