I just got done watching this and think that this movie is amazing with the absolute most twisted ending ive ever seen. Has anyone else seen it?

I want to see it.

I never read the book, but I have an audio version of The Mist, which was released on cassette and CD years ago, in the 1980's. It's in binaural sound (the packaging says "3D Sound") and when you listen through stereo headphones it sound like you are right in the middle of the action. Highly recommended for King fans, and audio enthusiasts as well. It's currently in print and available.

The people that gave it poor reviews on Amazon probably didn't listen on headphones, which is what it was created for.

I caught the flick back when it was in theaters. There were some things I really dug, the ending and the look of the film, but for the most part I thought it was pretty standard and by the book.

The thing that killed it for me the most was the crazy religious lady Mrs. Carmondy. In a movie about a killer mist she was the most unbelievable and unrealistic thing in the film

Yeah it was pretty good. Enjoyed a different ending for a change.

Haven't seen it yet but if it's half as good as the original short story then it should be worth checking out. Especialy:stoned:

i agree but other than that i thought it was atleast a little better than the crap hollywood has been cramming in recently. Not the best but certainly not awful:thumbsup:

Not going to argue you on that one  Although I've been wanting to rewatch the Mist since I first saw it. Maybe it'll rate better another time through :rastasmoke:

Read the story by Stephen King, and loved it. Seen the movie, didn't like it, was too much like all the other crap movies nowadays. I thought the acting was real bad in some parts. And everyone keeps going on about the ending. I swear me and my girlfriend are the only ones who thought it was shit.
