View Full Version : Lung problem or muscle pull?

I have smoked weed thousands of times before, and never experienced a typical "smoking" consequence (cough, lung tightness, trouble breathing.) However, this morning I awoke with a very uncomfortable feeling in my chest. When I press on my left back or my left chest I feel no pain, which leads me to believe that the problem is in the middle of my body.

Deep breaths are no more difficult than usual and are not painful, but when I turn certain directions and sit down/ stand up, the pain is very evident.

It is not severe pain, but certainly not mild. My gut feeling is that it is a muscle problem caused by doing pushups or something, but I am asking just in case any of you have experienced anything similar.

thanks, Tim

I've had the same experience. Try working on your posture, stretching and exercise. Make sure your shoulders aren't slouching forward, and your chest is sticking outward. You want to make sure you aren't walking around like a zombie or this will affect your spine. Posture is more important than you may realize.

When you pop a lung....it hurts. You'll KNOW something bad is going on. Plus you'll have trouble breathing.....hurts to inhale and is VERY hard to exhale. you WILL know.

Sounds like a muscle thing......but if ANYTHING strikes you as off I'd get it checked......you want to KEEP breathing....right?? ;)
