Help with Weed margarine

hey, this was the first time i tried making weed butter on my own. I made it last night, i used the boiling water method with an oz of bud and a cup of margarine. After i was done cooking it into the margarine, i put it in the fridge overnight.

The thing is i can't get the margarine to solidify. It was still mostly liquid the next day, so i put it in the freezer for half an hour and most of it froze. Then i put it back in the fridge, hoping the water would melt faster and the margarine would stay solid.

Right now i have a bunch of frozen chunks of the mixture but also some liquid that appears to have liquid margarine in it. how can i extract the margarine??

I'm Pretty Sure You're suppose to use Real Un-salted Butter
To Make CannaButter.I never really asked why but I've always been told NOT to use margarine for cannabutter.
If You Had used an ounce of buds and a Pound of unsalted butter,
The results probably would have been 100% better.

well i was planning on putting the butta into cookies, i filtered out alot of the water (and some margarine) so i'll try to put that solution in the cookie mix. hopefully the water will just evaporate while being cooked.

To try and recover it, I'd put all the mixture in a medium sized pan with about four inches of boiling water. Add a cup of real butter and re-cook.

Once finished, place in the fridge till the butter sets. You won't be able to save all of it, but it's better than nothing.

What on earth made you use margarine though, especially with an oz?

Man,I used smart butter ,that healthy butter once,and it didnt solidify,so what I did was I boiled more water and dumped the stuff(butter and weed mixture ) back in a pot this is like 3 days later,cause it wasnt getting solid.I boiled water and used real butter,and I just restrained everything threw away the bud and put the liquid in the fridge.....it worked,So dont throw it out just yet,you can save it.

Yea i never did any research with cooking with bud, but i watched my friends make brownies once and they turned out great. So i did everything we did when making the brownies. I assumed that margarine would work since its still a fat.

i was able to extract most of the water, but did loose some margarine that was still liquid. I lost about 1/8 of a cup of of margarine, which pisses me off since it was high grade bud. O well, lesson learned, and the cookies are done so i'm going to sample one
