I don't drink. I've never had a good experience with any of my few encounters with alcohol, plus I've always got bud around.

Alcohol kills brain cells. Marijuana does not.
http://www.drugpolicy.org/marijuana/factsmyths/
MYTH: MARIJUANA KILLS BRAIN CELLS. Used over time, marijuana permanently alters brain structure and function, causing memory loss, cognitive impairment, personality deterioration, and reduced productivity.
FACT: None of the medical tests currently used to detect brain damage in humans have found harm from marijuana, even from long term high-dose use. An early study reported brain damage in rhesus monkeys after six months exposure to high concentrations of marijuana smoke. In a recent, more carefully conducted study, researchers found no evidence of brain abnormality in monkeys that were forced to inhale the equivalent of four to five marijuana cigarettes every day for a year. The claim that marijuana kills brain cells is based on a speculative report dating back a quarter of a century that has never been supported by any scientific study.
Even if it did kill some brain cells, you shouldn't worry about not having enough brain cells. The brain, just like any other part of the body, naturally regenerates cells when they die. Plus there's 100 billion brain cells in the average human brain...that's a simply astronomical number and there's no reason to believe marijuana lowers it.

lol good shit, man.. az, i got a question for you.. are you or any of your mates in a band? coz we've been doin a few gigs at the moody blues, and the manager asked us if we could play there every thursday.. so we said yeah, but we're gonna try and find a new band (or musician or whatever) each week to play before us from 9pm until whenever.. we got our mates band to play the last couple of weeks, but we need someone for next thursday lol

umm...but brain cells do not regenerate.

Oh well...still, I'm not worried about my pot smoking rotting a big hole in my brain. There's simply no medical evidence of anything like that.

Alcohol seems to have a worse effect on your body. Im just speaking from personal experience. Alcohol consumption makes me feel tired, run down, headaches, sometimes an upset stomach.
I have never had any negative side effects from weed smoking, except maybe eating too much!
Weed makes me sleep better at night, and I never wake up with a hangover, in fact, its the opposite. I feel even better rested.

The damage caused by alcohol is supposed to be at least partially reversible, as in your brain will regenerate itself after you stop drinking...unlike the liver.

The relationship between drinking and the liver:
Liver turns to FAT turns to SCAR... who wants to crack a beer open now?
